Keep Ice Off Your Property

Snow is one thing. Ice is another. You can see snow and walk around it. But ice can hide under a thin layer of snow or form when melted snow refreezes at night. That's when people slip and fall.

Salt and ice melt products keep ice from forming. When we spread them on your driveway and walkways, they melt existing ice and stop new ice from building up. Your property stays safe, even when the temperature drops.

Where We Apply Salt

  • Driveways: We spread salt across your whole driveway
  • Walkways: All paths from your door to the street
  • Steps and Porches: Where slips are most dangerous
  • Around Your Car: So you can open your door without standing on ice
  • Sidewalks: The public sidewalk in front of your home

We Use the Right Products

Not all ice melt is the same. Cheap rock salt works, but it can damage concrete and kill plants. We use better products that melt ice fast without hurting your property.

For very cold days, regular salt doesn't work well below 15 degrees. We have products that work in colder weather so you're protected even during the worst winter nights.

Before, During, and After Storms

The best time to put down salt is before the snow starts. It stops ice from bonding to the pavement. We watch the weather and can treat your property before a storm hits.

We also apply salt after we plow and shovel. This melts any thin layer of snow we couldn't remove and prevents the pavement from getting slick as temperatures drop overnight.

Protect Your Investment

Ice damage is a real problem. Repeated freeze and thaw cycles can crack your driveway and walkways. By keeping ice off these surfaces, salt helps them last longer.

More importantly, salt protects you from slip and fall accidents. A broken hip from a fall can change your life. Spending a little on ice control is worth it for the safety it provides.

Add It to Your Snow Package

Most customers include salt application with their driveway plowing and walkway clearing. We do it all together for complete winter protection.

You can also get salt-only service for those days when there's no snow but the ground is icy. Just call us and we'll come treat your property.

"I used to be scared to walk to my mailbox in winter. Now they salt my walkway after every storm and I feel totally safe. Such a simple thing makes such a big difference."

"They salted before the ice storm last year when everyone else waited too long. Our driveway was the only one on the street that wasn't a skating rink."
