When Plants Need to Go
Sometimes plants need to be removed. A tree dies and becomes a hazard. Overgrown shrubs block your windows. You want to redesign your landscape and need a fresh start. Whatever the reason, we can help.
We remove trees and shrubs of all sizes. Small ornamental trees, large shade trees, individual shrubs, or entire hedges. We do the job safely and clean up completely when we're done.
Reasons for Removal
- Dead or Dying: Dead trees can fall without warning and cause damage
- Storm Damaged: Trees weakened by storms may be unsafe
- Disease or Pests: Infested plants can spread problems to healthy ones
- Overgrown: Plants that have gotten too big for their space
- Wrong Plant, Wrong Place: Sometimes the previous owner made poor choices
- Landscape Changes: Making room for new designs or structures
What We Remove
Small Trees: Ornamental trees like dogwoods, japanese maples, and crabapples. We dig these out completely, roots and all.
Medium Trees: Trees up to about 30 feet tall. We cut them down in sections and chip the branches.
Shrubs and Bushes: Everything from small boxwoods to large rhododendrons. We dig out the root ball and fill the hole.
Hedges: We can remove entire rows of shrubs and prep the area for something new.
Stump Removal
A stump left behind is an eyesore and a tripping hazard. We can grind stumps down below ground level so you can plant grass or new plants right over the spot.
Stump grinding leaves behind wood chips mixed with soil. We can haul this away or spread it as mulch elsewhere in your yard. Your choice.
Large Tree Work
For very large trees, we work with certified arborists. Trees near power lines, over houses, or in tight spaces require special equipment and expertise. We'll coordinate everything so you get safe, professional removal.
"We had three dead pines that needed to come down. They took them down safely, ground the stumps, and cleaned up everything. The yard looks so much better now."
"The overgrown yews along our foundation were a nightmare. They dug them all out and hauled them away. Now we have room for something nicer."
